# CALATORAO MARBLE

Calatorao Marble is an attractive, distinctive natural stone with an interesting black base background colour, with very fine, but very attractive white and pale grey linear veining furnishing a luxurious, but bold and timeless appearance. The powerful contrast and movement in the stone enhance its overall luxurious and timeless appeal.  It can be offered in a Honed surface process, providing a smooth, matt surface which provides a soft, natural appearance with very low light reflection and reflection of other light sources. The honed surface shows off the natural veining but uses a modern, sophisticated finish.  Calatorao comes in 20 mm, providing a highly durable and stable cut.  Modern yet classic, Calatorao Marble can be used in any part of the home or commercial setting that requires a durable and attractive surface.  Kitchen worktops, bathroom vanity tops, splashbacks, accent walls, fire surrounds, flooring, stairs and bespoke furniture are ideal applications.  Calacatta Marble's striking jet black colour works exceptionally well against a variety of other materials including wood, various metals and all manner of neutral shades. 

 As a fine natural marble, it has good durability for a natural stone when sealed and cared for.  It is recommended that regular sealing is followed to preserve the appearance of the surface and protect the surface from damage by moisture and stains. It is suggested that to keep the honed finish on the surface, a soft cleaning cloth and neutral stone cleaner are used; however, no acidic or abrasive products.
