Cygnus Grey Marble
Cygnus grey looks fine grained to suddenly coarse grind on a same slab and the grey combines with a tone of violet to escape a complete grey impression. Except for rare spots of off-white and the uneven coarse grind surface area the marble looks plain. In other varieties, the slabs carry a complete grey tone with simple and small fossil like and inscription like images- with this variety the slab looks a pakka natural stone and in another variety the background takes on a tint of brown and the surface looks vertically strikes like a hand-woven straw mat added to this are horizontal running white veins in good distance and white specs. On the whole it looks like a good design for the slabs.
This Grey Cygnus marble is a good building stone. It is said to be a classic kitchen marble and a bathroom special marble with nice backsplash. Custom made sinks and other decorative objects with this marble add to the ambience of the projects. Crystalline varieties come from different origins and you can probably have honed, aged, polished and other rough finishes like sanded, sawn , rock faced, tumbled and bush hammered etc.
