MARBLE WORKTOPS

Formed by recrystallization of sedimentary rock like limestone, this metamorphosed rock
is a symbol of purity and immortality. It is believed that its incorporation brings about positive affirmations like clarity, composure and steadiness in one’s life. It gained its popularity from the ancient Romans and Greeks who utilized this fascinating material for handy sculptures to gigantic pillars of monuments. Besides these, in the present day, it is popularly used for kitchen and bathroom flooring, worktops, walls, fire

QUARTZ WORKTOPS

Unlike granite and marble, quartz worktops are engineered materials made from a combination of natural quartz minerals (about 90% ) with polymers, resins and pigments that make the remaining 10%. As it is artificially manufactured,
quartz worktops can be found in the market in a wide range of colour patterns and designs, in fact, in any naturally existing colour, it can be made to be available. The currently popular colours in the market are neutrals like black, brown, beige, grey and white. They can be made to mimic natural stones like marble and granite pretty precisely. They can be used for kitchen and bathroom worktops, walls, backsplash, flooring, etc. Qualities like these and low maintenance have added even more to the popularity of this product amongst customers with no sign to stop anytime soon.

QUARTZITE WORKTOPS

Quartzite is a hard, non-foliated metamorphic sandstone. When a sandstone, rich in quartz comes under heat, pressure and chemical activity under the earth’s crust, it transforms into an ultra-strong quartzite. Spiritually, quartzite is associated with stability and other positive changes in a human’s life. It is believed that it helps to prevent us from going back to our old state after we experience an elevating change in our lives like an uplifting therapy or spiritual enlightenment.  Quartzites have veining patterns almost similar to marbles and are growing popular amongst homeowners for their beautiful appearance. They can be used for walls, floors, stairs, tops and roof finishing. They are popularly available in two different thicknesses; 20mm and 30mm, and two different polishes; polished and matte.

Porcelain Worktop For Kitchen & Bathroom

It is a white, glass-like, translucent, non-porous, hard ceramic that has been manufactured by burning clay-type materials at high temperatures. Its characteristics include hardness, whiteness and translucency. Porcelain shows a high level of mechanical resistance, high density and low porosity, which combine to make porcelain materials durable, innocuous, soft in touch and
beautiful. Anciently, they were used for creating cups, plates, decoration items, etc. Some exquisite porcelain was even used for manufacturing prized
items, served as gifts. In the present day, they are used for various purposes like flooring, countertops, crockeries, decorative objects etc.

NATURAL TILES

Tiles are industrially manufactured thin slabs from hard-wearing, resilient materials like ceramic, stone, metal, baked clay or glass, commonly available in square or rectangular shapes. They're both functional as well as decorative and can be attached in an impressive display to rotect roofs, floors, walls, edges, or other objects like tabletops. By other definitions, they can refer to similar units made up of lightweight materials like perlite, wood, and mineral wool, commonly used for wall and ceiling applications. SLATE WORKTOPS FOR KITCHENS, BATHROOM & FLOORING

Slate is a fine-grained, foliated, homogeneous metamorphic rock with a dull lustre created by the alteration of shale or mudstone by low-grade regional metamorphism under relatively low temperature and pressure. It is mined and quarried in different parts of the world predominately in Brazil and Spain to be used as premium construction stones. These slate rocks easily cleave or
split into thin slabs with high tensile strength and endurance. The most prevalent colour of a Slate is grey, although they can be found in black, green, red and even purple shades. They are available in honed and polished finishes, within a thickness range of 30mm, 40mm and 5o mm, and are suitable to be used for purposes like roofing, internal and external flooring, wall cladding etc.

TRAVERTINE WORKTOPS FOR KITCHENS, BATHROOM & FLOORING

Travertine is a kind of earthly limestone that is formed by the
deposition of calcite minerals around hot springs. The water movement from the springs disintegrates the travertine, creating voids in the stone’s structure. The structure can be
compared to that of a honeycomb, where small pockets or cavities exist within the stone; these are displayed as holes in the surface when it's cut into tiles.  These holes can either be left open or filled by the factory during the
tiles manufacturing process with a cement-based filler. Travertine tiles can be used for many indoor as well as outdoor purposes like for building walkways, wall coverings, patios, fountains etc. It can be
available in a wide variety of finishes, in tan, white and cream tones and thickness range of 6mm, 12mm, 15mm and 20mm.

SANDSTONE FOR FLOORING

Sandstone is a sedimentary rock that is found in basins all over the world. It is a type of sedimentary rock that is quite common. It is made up of sand-sized grains, rock fragments, minerals, and organic matter. Sand particles range in diameter from 1/16 millimetre to 2 millimetres. It may also contain a matrix of silt- or clay-size particles that occupy the spaces between the sand grains, as well as cementing material that binds the sand grains together. Metamorphism, which is usually associated with tectonic compression within orogenic belts, can transform quartz-bearing sandstone into quartzite. Sand deposits that eventually form sandstone are delivered to the basin by
rivers, but they can also be delivered by the action of waves or wind. Some sand grains may be organic particles, such as sand and shell particles produced within the basin.

SEMI PRECIOUS STONE WORKTOPS

A Precious Stone is a piece of mineral crystal which is cut and in a  polished form. It is used to make jewelry or other adornments. Precious stones can be classified into precious stone and semi-precious stone. However, certain rocks such as lapis lazuli and opal and occasionally organic materials that are not minerals, such as amber, jet, and pearl are also used for jewelry and are therefore often considered to be Precious stones as well. Most Precious stones are hard, but some soft minerals are used in jewelry because of their luster or other physical properties that have aesthetic value. And rarity is another characteristic that lends value to a Precious stones.
