The Design Direction

Creating Contrast Without Losing Balance

Dark natural stone can easily dominate a room if not carefully planned — Titanium Granite in this case. It still keeps the kitchen feeling open and inviting. We paired it with light-coloured shaker cabinets and matching upstands. Do you also feel that the worktops became the feature without overpowering the overall design? It wasn't so easy to achieve this, though.

Why It Needed Care
The peninsula part of this kitchen was getting easily noticed as soon as we entered the room. So it became an ideal place to showcase the granite's bold movement.
How We Achieved It
The granite had different levels of gold in different corners of the slab. We chose the section with the richest golden veining for the peninsula. That made the natural pattern the focal point of the room.

The kitchen sink was directly beneath the window. This portion was also quite visible in their kitchen.

The team made the sink cutout precisely and retained the surrounding veining. The final look was neat and durable.

Matching granite upstands were fabricated from the same material, creating subtle continuity around the entire kitchen perimeter.
Final Outcome — The completed kitchen demonstrates how natural granite can completely transform an otherwise neutral interior. The golden part you see in the slab is actually the mineral movement. This section catches changing daylight, which gives the worktops a different appearance from morning to evening. This space will easily last for decades.
