Did Emerald Green Quartzite Kitchen Installation Went Well?

The Problem
The first thing that caught our attention was the colour combination. The client had already chosen soft cream cabinets, while Emerald Green Quartzite is naturally bold with dramatic veining. They were worried the worktop might overpower the kitchen instead of complementing it.
Solution
Our expert team suggested that Emerald Green Quartzite worktop would be inch-perfect for the cabinet finish, wall colours, flooring, and lighting before making a recommendation. By carefully matching the slab pattern and ensuring the green tones balanced with the warm cream walls and cabinet finish, we created a luxurious yet harmonious space. The final result proved that contrasting colours can work beautifully when planned correctly.
The Problem
The second challenge appeared during installation. The client had selected a heavy apron-front sink, but the cabinets and drawer units underneath were still incomplete. Installing the worktop without proper cabinet support could have affected the sink alignment and placed unnecessary stress on the quartzite.
Solution
Instead of rushing the installation, our team coordinated with the cabinet installers, took fresh measurements once the units were completed, reinforced the sink support, and then proceeded with the worktop installation. This ensured a perfect fit, proper weight distribution, and a long-lasting installation without future movement.
The Problem
The kitchen also featured a compact preparation island that served two purposes. One half was designed as a wooden chopping board, while the other half was planned with Emerald Green Quartzite. The concern was whether the two materials would look disconnected.
Solution
Our fabrication team carefully designed the transition between timber and stone, ensuring both heights and edge profiles aligned perfectly. We also matched the grain direction and polished finish to create visual continuity. Rather than looking like two separate surfaces, the island became a unique feature that blended functionality with elegant design.
The Problem
The final challenge involved four large splashback panels running along the end of the worktops. Because the walls weren't perfectly straight, there was a risk of visible gaps, uneven joints, and mismatched veining around the corners.
Solution
Our templating specialists carried out detailed laser measurements before fabrication and carefully planned the vein direction across every panel. During installation, each splashback was dry-fitted and adjusted for precise corner alignment. The result was a seamless finish with continuous veining that enhanced the luxurious appearance of the kitchen while protecting the walls from everyday cooking splashes.
