This Surrey project presented several details that demanded precision from templating through to installation.

The Problem
The island was designed as the focal point of the kitchen, so any mismatch where the horizontal and vertical surfaces met would have been immediately noticeable.
How We Solved It
We carefully prepared mitred joints and aligned the quartz pattern across each section, creating a crisp waterfall edge with a seamless appearance.
The Problem
The client's splashback was massive in size. This means very tight use of the slab, so zero chance for errors. If there were uneven walls or if the team did small inaccurate measurements, it could lead to big visible gaps.
How We Solved It
Our digital templates captured every detail of the walls before fabrication, allowing each quartz panel to fit neatly against the cabinetry and surrounding surfaces.
The Problem
The client wanted the veins in the worktop to look like they were naturally following towards the splashback. They didn't want a random pattern. Both sizes being massive, we had to be very careful before cutting.
How We Solved It
During fabrication, we kept both the worktop and splashback side by side to figure out the best way to keep visual continuity of the patterns on the slab surface. Our client got a balanced and elegant kitchen.
