The brief wasn't about adding visual drama. Unlike popular requests, this Middlesex client asked for their kitchen to feel neat and uncluttered as soon as somebody entered the room. They were after a space that was easy to live with. You can see the final look of the honed-finish quartz slab — it looks stunning not just on worktops but also islands, and full-height splashbacks did a wonderful job. Tartufo Composite Quartz has a cloudy-grey look — neither too dark nor too light, sitting right in the middle with soft whites all over the surface. This slab can be said to have a concrete-inspired appearance. We get this in a non-glossy finish. Being an engineered quartz surface, it combines contemporary aesthetics with excellent resistance to stains, scratches and everyday kitchen use.
