kitchen had one area that naturally called for attention: the cooking zone. We usedArabescato Corchia Marble
to create a full stone splashback that follows the available wall area around the cooker, creating a clean, framed backdrop for the cooking station. The result is simple in concept but effective in execution — one carefully selected piece of natural stone has turned an otherwise functional wall into one of the defining features of the kitchen.The Vision
Make The Cooking Area The Feature
The kitchen didn't need more decoration. It already had the range cooker, traditional cabinetry and those lovely brass details. What it needed was something behind the cooking area that could bring all of those elements together. We kept the treatment focused on the range rather than extending stone unnecessarily across every wall, allowing the marble to work almost like a piece of artwork within the kitchen.
