. After reviewing images from the client, we noticed the worktop would run around the window and continue into the cooking zone. Light-coloured cabinets and wooden-effect floor tiles in a herringbone style were already giving the room a bright feeling, so we had to suggest a slab that wouldn't feel too clinical or disturb the existing theme. That's how discussions with the homeowners led to theCalacatta Grey Quartz
worktop. The stone was also carried up the wall behind the cooking area, creating a coordinated surface rather than leaving the splashback as a separate visual element. Around the window, sink and hob, every section had to be templated carefully to make the most of the available space.The Vision
Bright Quartz With Continuous Marble-Style Movement
The kitchen's proportions made continuity particularly important. Rather than breaking the worktop into visually unrelated sections, the installation uses the same Calacatta Grey Quartz across the main runs and selected vertical surfaces. The large window brings plenty of daylight onto the polished quartz, while the grey movement gives the otherwise pale kitchen a stronger visual identity.
