The many advantages of antique brown are minimal water absorption capacity, high abrasion resistance and lower probability for scratch and ease of maintenance. Medium liquid absorption quality reduces the stains by highly pigmented liquids by wiping immediately after spills. Due to the minimal acid sensitive property, any exposure to acidic liquids will not affect or dull the shine of the polished antique brown surface.

The brown granite is suitable for both interior and exterior applications for climates with freezing temperatures as it has frost resistance. The antique brown granite is a good choice for kitchen worktops, backsplashes, bathroom countertops, flooring and walls.
